Bohemian Rhapsody is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, one of the greatest rocks bands of all time, their music, and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury, who defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet. The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound, their near-implosion as Mercury's lifestyle spiralled out of control, and their triumphant reunion on the eve of Live Aid, where Mercury, facing a recent AIDS diagnosis, led the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music and cemented the band's legacy forever.

Trivia:
Polly Bennett worked painstakingly with Rami Malek to perfect every nuance of Freddie's mannerisms.

Rami Malek had sent a video of him singing to the band members of Queen, however, later when he met them they hadn't watched it due to some technical issue.

20th Century Fox fired director Bryan Singer for reportedly being at odds with his star, Rami Malek. Singer threw an object at the actor when Malek complained to the studio about the director's absences.

Queen guitarist Brian May had composed the rock arrangement of the 20th Century Fox fanfare in this "Bohemian Rhapsody".

Rami Malek got the leading role because the producers were impressed with his work in "Mr. Robot" as his jawline reminded them of Mercury.

Joseph Mazzello used five different wigs throughout the shoot in order to have his own hair permed, an experience he hadn't anticipated would be quite so 'permanent.'

Lady Gaga based her stage name on the song "Radio Ga Ga."

John Reid was only 26 when he first started managing Queen, but Aidan Gillen, the actor who portrays him, was actually 49 during filming.

When Fox became anxious about Bryan Singer's position as director of the film, Ridley Scott was approached for a possible replacement.

Joseph Mazzello said that "Bohemian Rhapsody" was the very first song he downloaded on Napster.

This is the second collaboration between Aiden Gillen and Lucy Boynton.

Rami Malek fell off the stage after winning the Oscar and is treated by Paramedics.

Rami Malek won the Best Actor Oscar for his leading role in "Bohemian Rhapsody."
