After Devki's husband Anand dies, her in-laws kick her out of the house. Luckily, a Pujari helps her and takes care of her and her daughter, Shraddha. But when her brother-in-law Vikram refuses to give her what she deserves and spreads lies about her, Devki sadly decides to end her life along with her daughter, Shraddha. The Pujari tells this story later on, looking back on what happened.
