This multi-layered romantic drama revolves around Ashesh, a soft-spoken and sincere young man, who has earned his doctor's degree from abroad. He lives with his younger sister and family and works at the local hospital.
He is given the responsibility of distributing wedding invitation cards for the wedding of his uncle's son which he fulfils. When he mistakenly gives an invitation card to Barnali and her father, who is a teacher he is told to return and rectify his error.
