Dada Bhai is a nice man who treats his employees very kindly, to the extent that he treats Raghu like his own family member. One night, a beautiful young woman intrudes into his house and begs for protection. Despite not knowing her identity and being disturbed by her sudden appearance, he helps her.
Later, she explains that her name is Aparajita, and her own father who is an alcoholic and a gambler was trying to sell her into prostitution. Dada Bhai feels terrible for her and gives her sanctuary in his house. At first, Raghu Da does not accept her, but soon he begins thinking of Aparajita as his own daughter.
Aparajita cooks, cleans, brings in an idol of God and turns the house into a home with a woman's touch. The three of them take a trip to Shillong and enjoy the scenic location. Over time, Dada Bhai finds himself falling in love with Aparajita and wishes to marry her. He hands over all his mother's jewellery and tells her that she has full right over all of his things. Will Aparajita marry Dada Bhai or will she turn out to be a fraud? Will they succeed in overcoming Aparajita's difficult past and stay together against all odds?
