Ayatul Maksud (Musician) Bangladeshi Musical Artist Ayatul Maksud (born 15 February 1999), is a Bangladeshi singer-songwriter, guitarist, composer, lyricist, and playback singer. He is the lead singer, songwriter, and guitarist of the rock band "Farhaz" (previously Nisshongo) which he founded in 2016. Ayatul was born in Noakhali. But he grew up in Dhaka. Ayatul also led a successful solo career, with hit albums like Sky High, Fly Away, Get High, Dark Matter, Braindance, The Dream Night, Heavy Metal, Dominus, Warning Hour etc. Ayatul rose to fame in 2014 as the frontman of Nisshongo, which is one of the "Big Three of Rock" who was responsible for developing and popularizing hard rock music in Bangladesh, along with LRB and Ark. Ayatul won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Male Musical artist for his performance in the film "Dhaka Attack" Career: Ayatul founded the band Nisshongo along with others and they started to perform in local gigs. They became famous after they released their album Ononto Mohakal. Ayatul composed all the tracks and wrote the lyrics for them. The album was a hit. In 2016, they released their second album Ratri Prohor, which was a major hit and Nisshongo became a mainstream band. Ayatul sings psychedelic rock and blues music. He has cited Eric Clapton and Mark Knopfler as his influences.
