Trivia:
This movie was originally intended to be the beginning of Avengers 4.

This is the second Marvel Cinematic Universe film to have "War" in its title, after Captain America: Civil War, which was also directed by the Russo brothers.

This is the longest movie in the MCU by far with 156 minutes surpassing Captain America: Civil War which was 147 minutes.

On May 1, 2017 filming was undertaken in Durham Cathedral.

The Guardians of the Galaxy and Spider-Man are confirmed for this movie.

It was rumored that Vin Diesel will also portray Groot via motion capture, unlike the first Guardians of the Galaxy film, where it was only his voice.

This will be the first time that the Guardians of the Galaxy meet the Avengers.

Initially, it was rumored that Steve Rogers would not appear in this film, as his role as Captain America would have been passed to Bucky Barnes, in Captain America: Civil War. However, the theory was ruled out once Chris Evans confirmed that would appeared in the movie.

The Russo brothers originally confirmed that Captain Marvel would be in this movie but later Joe Russo declared that the character would not, and she would instead make her debut in her own movie.

Marvel Studios announced in late July 2016 that this film would simply be known as Avengers: Infinity War, while Part II was referred to as Untitled Avengers film, until the title is chosen.

Avengers: Infinity War is the nineteenth film released by Marvel Studios in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Liv Tyler was rumored to reprise her role as Betty Ross from The Incredible Hulk.

IMAX stated that "Avengers: Infinity War" along with Untitled Avengers Movie was entirely filmed with digital 2-D ARRI Alexa IMAX cameras, which are specially customized versions of ARRI Alexa 65 cameras with IMAX technology.

Filming began on January 2017 and wrapped in January 2018. This film and an untitled Avengers sequel (2019) were shot back-to-back.

During the filming at Durham Cathedral, the security was so tight that not even the Cathedral wardens were allowed access inside.

Hugh Jackman wished to appear in an Avengers film, but he said he would only reprise his character, Wolverine if he appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In December 2017, however, Jackman officially stated he would not be reprising the role and he would love to see someone else play the character.

Avengers: Infinity War marked the 10th anniversary of Marvel Studios and its inception of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

There are 64 main characters in the film according to Marvel Studios.

Tom Holland was restricted from reading the script for "Avengers: Infinity War" as he had revealed too many secrets for Spider-Man: Homecoming.
