This fast-paced crime drama opens with Brojolal Dutta intensely contemplating over a partnership agreement for Mukherjee and Dutta Company which clearly states that the partners will be co-owners for the company in their lifetime.
If either one of them was to die, his share of the ownership would go to his child. However, if one of the partners had no legitimate heir, the company would be owned outright by the other partner's heir.
Brojolal Dutta hatches an evil plan to de-throne Baidyanath Mukherjee from the company's throne. He takes help from an impersonator and a string of plans and plots are laid down. Kashinath, Baidyanath's driver is also pulled iinto the plan by Brojolal. Baidyanath is brutally murdered.
However, in a fateful twist, Brojolal Dutta's daughter and sole heir to his inheritance Anu falls in love with Baidyanath's son, Ashish. Brojolal saves him from death and confesses his sin to Ashish and is killed in the same encounter. Thus, justice is restored and the lovebirds, Anu and Ashish live happily ever after.
