Vikram is an author, who is on the court for an interesting story. He is intrigued by Shuba and requests her to reveal her story to him and somehow succeeds in convincing Shuba to share everything about her life with him. Shuba reveals that she believes she is cursed because each time she has fallen in love in her life, her beloved is forced to endure tremendous pain and suffering, soon after she touches him. Right from her teenage years, repeated heartbreak has convinced Shuba that she must remain alone.

After the series of experiences that have made Shuba believe that she is cursed, Vikram is shocked, but finds himself falling in love with her anyway. He wishes to marry Shuba, but she's petrified that if she touches him, he would also suffer a dangerous and painful accident like her previous lovers. In order to avoid the power of the curse, the only solution she can come up with is that they would get married, but still never touch each other, not even by mistake. How will their unique marital life unfold?
