Adhibar (2015)

Fast paced and fiery, this intense crime drama revolves around Shiva (Jeevan), a fearless young NRI, who returns to India from Canada to start a business. When he gets into some altercations at home, his mother feels that he should return to the country of his origins and he listens to her.

Upon reaching India, he decides to start a real estate business. However, when he begins to trust Eshwaran (Ranjith), a corrupt lawyer and accepts the friendship of a gangster, he is eventually cheated and sent to prison for connections with a militant outfit.

Just when the world seems to be caving in on Shiva, he gets help from a straightforward CBI officer and his prison inmate, who guide him in getting freed from the quagmire. Once released, he finds love with Suganthi (Vidhya), whose inspiration gives him the strength to bring his life back into order. Now, can Shiva exact revenge on those who betrayed him and regain his lost wealth? What will the future hold in store for him?
